A paradise for walkers and hikers

Hiking is the ideal way to discover the luminous island by exploring forest trails, marshes, preserved seaside areas, and enjoying authentic nature which will allow you to come across wild fauna and discover the island flora.

You can take the long-distance hiking trails GR E9 (European hiking trail) and GR 360 (Tour de la Saintonge) located near Arc en Ciel Oléron.

The Chemin d'Oléron is a marked circuit that allows you to go around the island in several stages. It's even easier with a fixed point to meet up at every evening.

The island of Oléron and the Marennes region can also be explored by bike with nearly 160 km of cycle routes, to appreciate the diversity of landscapes and the Oléron heritage.
As a group, we develop the program of your stay together for all levels, on foot or by bike (or both!).
